Welcome to Temecula, California, where sits the famous Hotel Temecula. According to the locals, the food is great, but sometimes they'll even book a room for themselves just to experience this historic building again. Because, like a certain other hotel located in California, it seems that in certain cases, you can check out any time you like, but you'll never actually want to leave!
Visitors travel from all over the world for a chance to stay here. It's not often that the hotel itself is actually the destination, too. From history buffs, to people who just like cool older things and a break from our busy modern world, Hotel Temecula fits the bill.

The History of The Hotel Temecula
At Hotel Temecula, you can experience a slice of the Old West and you won't even need a time machine and you won't have to worry about being challenged to a duel at sunset. Visitors have described their stay as stepping through time to a bygone era.
The property is filled with little slices of history, such as an old Emigrant Office which makes a great photo opportunity. The hotel itself, obviously, is a sight to behold.
They took the vibe and the feel and authenticity from the Old Wild West, and updated it so that you'll be comfortable. At the same time, they didn't overdo it, this isn't some posh luxury 5-star hotel, and it isn't supposed to be - that would ruin the charm. Updates have all been done very tastefully, and with the goal of holding onto what made this place so special to begin with.
A Great Place for a Wedding
There's just something special about booking a wedding at a historic place like this. When you're hosting your wedding at a timeless place, it represents the timelessness of your love. It's sweet, and charming, much like the hotel itself.
The Hotel Temecula stands as it did back in the late 1800's when it was built. Here is an excerpt from their website: "You will be staying in the original hotel as built in 1891. All rooms are located on the second floor. The lobby staircase is a bit steep. If you have questions please call."
There are two washrooms which are shared, 9 rooms, and an absolutely stunning Garden Suite. Some of the rooms face the main street, and will have either a full, king, or a queen sized bed. Each room accommodates two people, so it's a nice size to have the wedding party and some close friends or family staying on-site while the happy couple enjoys the Garden Suite.
